Bungie has given us our first look at Destiny 2’s new hub location. The Farm will replace Destiny’s Tower, which (spoilers) is completely destroyed at the beginning of the sequel. In a short video with IGN First we get a look at some of The Farm’s features, including an actual football pitch. The Farm seems to be the same size as the original hub, with a couple of familiar features, such as the Cryptarch where you’ll collect your new gear, a Postmaster for checking your messages, and other merchants....

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s campaign will not be included in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, Activision has announced. The old-gen versions of this year’s shooter – in the hands of Beenox and Mercenary Technology – will feature Multiplayer and Zombies only. “The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player coop Campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware,” states Activision in a new blog post....

Activision and Treyarch have lifted the lid on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer, showing off new maps and more during a dedicated live stream event that took place last night. The core of the multiplayer is based around “Deniable Operations” which will be a series of engagements taking place on maps that are “rooted in the game’s realistic and historical setting” and will take you to locations such as Uzbekistan, Moscow, Angola, Miami and even the middle of the Atlantic Ocean....

Uncharted creator Amy Hennig is returning to the Star Wars universe to work on a new “richly-cinematic action-adventure game”. Hennig, memorably, spent three years working on Project Ragtag, the ill-fated Star Wars game left “on the shelf” by EA after developer Visceral Games was shut down. The project is the second major game in the works at Skydance New Media, Hennig’s new studio, which is also working on an unannounced action-adventure game based around a Marvel property....

DICE has pushed back the start of Battlefield 2042’s Season One until “early summer”.
