Bad Hbo Max News Piles On With Young Justice Season 5 Update

It looks like the bad news just keeps on coming for DC fans. After multiple cancellations of unreleased DCEU content like Batgirl, a standalone Batman movie with Ben Affleck, and many more promising projects, it looks like Young Justice is next on the chopping block. Granted, the situation with this program is a bit different compared to the other projects that were outright canceled. According to TVLine‘s entertainment insider, Matt Webb Mitovich, “HBO Max from go had only ordered a single season of the onetime Cartoon Network and DC Universe series, and that plan has not changed....

Balan Wonderworld Review I Wonder Why I Wonder How

Hype can be a cruel mistress. It supplies copious winds to set properties aloft. But it can burn their wings off with an intense magnifying glass as well. Yuji Naka hadn’t directed a game since 1999’s Chu Chu Rocket, let alone a tentpole 3D platformer. He was told by the higher-ups at Square Enix that, while he could execute his vision with Balan Wonderworld, this was his one chance. It’s unfortunate, then, that this is the game he chose to make....

Battlefield 1 Beta Attracts 13 2M Players

13.2 million people played last week’s Battlefield 1 beta, EA has revealed. That’s more than Destiny and The Division’s combined. In comparison, Destiny’s beta attracted 4.6m players, Overwatch hit 9.7m and The Division reached 6.4m. Star Wars Battlefront’s attracted 9.5m, although Battleborn came in at just over 2m. It’s worth pointing out, of course, that all of those betas took place earlier in the current-gen consoles’ lifecycles, meaning there would have been fewer people able to play them....

Batwoman Episode 20 Review O Mouse

This BATWOMAN review contains spoilers. Batwoman Episode 19 For an episode that wasn’t originally intended to be a season finale, “Oh, Mouse!” really brings it. One of the surprises of the episode is Alice double-crossing Mouse with poison. Here I was thinking wow, there’s not many shows that would let their villains really take a true, honest moment to honor their trauma like Batwoman is letting Alice and Mouse do. While it was a lovely moment, it then of course turns out this isn’t goodbye to their trauma, this is just another chapter, because Alice has poisoned mouse, one of only two people she truly loves in this world....

Bioware Releases Teaser Art For The Next Mass Effect Hinting At The Geth

Every year, BioWare celebrates Mass Effect on November 7 — dubbed N7 Day. Normally, it involved folks on the BioWare staff reminiscing about the famous series, or maybe releasing some skins. Last year the team announced Mass Effect Legendary Edition, a remastered collection of the original trilogy. Yesterday, however, N7 Day went off without much of a tremor. But BioWare did provide some fun polling results, as well as drop teaser art for the next Mass Effect game — which hints at something to do with the Geth....

Black Ice Five Whole Years In Early Access And Still Going

Some people are hesitant when it comes to purchasing early access games. Things happen in life and projects get abandoned. Black Ice has been in EA since July of 2014 and is headed up by a single developer. It has recently entered its sixth year and, despite the length of time, is still going strong....

Borderlands 3 Pre Load Not Supported On Epic Games Store

We are just about a month away from Borderlands 3‘s release on September 13. As such, the thought of setting up pre-orders is top-of-mind for many eager vault hunters. One of the great pre-order advantages on the PC platform is the ability to download the game in advance. Bravely Default Ii Brings The Series To Switch Next Year

In a bit of a shocker, Square Enix was present at The Game Awards with more than just Final Fantasy 7 Remake. After a demo reel showed off credits from last year’s Octopath Traveler, a title card popped up and revealed that Bravely Default 2 will be heading to Switch next year. I suppose we’re just going to ignore that Bravely Second was a thing. Obviously still early in development, Bravely Default 2 is clearly a more direct sequel to the 3DS original than Bravely Second....

Breath Of The Wild 2 7 Changes We D Like To See In The Sequel

By many accounts, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild represents the closest a game can come to perfection. The game’s innovations make it a generation defining title, on par with games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VII. However, even a title with that level of acclaim can have a few weaknesses. Now that Nintendo has officially announced a direct follow-up to Breath of the Wild for the Switch, players have started to think about improvements — both large and small — that the Zelda team could add to the sequel....
