Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson is said to be in talks to play Captain Marvel in an upcoming standalone film, reports Variety. Larson is said to be Marvel’s number one choice for the role, with the actress believed to be “leaning toward playing the part”. Marvel did not comment on the Variety report. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this summer, and to mobile devices this holiday, 505 Games has confirmed. The BAFTA-winning twin-stick adventure first released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2013, but is coming to current-gen consoles complete with a Director’s Commentary, soundtrack and concept art gallery. Further specifics on the current-gen port have yet to be revealed. The game will be on show at 505’s booth during next week’s E3, however, alongside exploration game Abzu, ADR1FT, Overkill’s The Walking Dead and Payday 2: Crimewave Edition....

Hackers were able to break through Sony’s security, comprising the private information of millions of users and Sony responded by disabling the services to launch a full-fledge investigation where the FBI are now involved. Anthem’s first birthday has come and gone. The game initially released on February 22nd, 2019, for PC and consoles, and while one would expect some sort of celebration from a game’s one year anniversary, it seems that there was nothing of the sort planned for Anthem. The Evil Dead’s claret-spilling hero Ash J. Williams is set to appear in Dead by Daylight, developer Behaviour has announced. Williams isn’t the only horror movie legend to appear in the game. Previously, we’ve seen the likes of Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street and SAW’s Jigsaw guest star in the survival horror romp. Ubisoft has revealed details of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass, and – surprise! – it includes a full remaster of Assassin’s Creed 3. Assassin’s Creed 3 is the mildly rubbish one starring a really irritating protagonist pratting about in Revolution-era America, for those who’ve forgotten. Alas, I doubt those flaws will be fixed in this remaster. That said, we can expect “4K and HDR, higher resolution textures, a new graphics engine, and several other graphical enhancements” in addition to improved “gameplay mechanics and ergonomics....

Turtle Rock has announced it’s going to be looking into concerns players have had about Back 4 Blood‘s progression system for solo players. Those fortunate enough to be in the game’s early access have taken to social media such as Reddit to highlight the game’s imposed restrictions when playing with bots. Namely, things like earning Supply Points, stat tracking and achievements are all disabled in this mode. The studio acknowledged the frustrations in a Tweet to players over the weekend....
