Belgian Government Is Reportedly Investigating Ea Over Fifa Loot Boxes

Publishing behemoth Electronic Arts is reportedly under criminal investigation by the Belgian government, after the company failed to adhere to the country’s gambling laws by tweaking FIFA’s random loot boxes. EA isn’t the only company required to take action, of course. The likes of 2K Games, Blizzard, and Valve have taken steps to ensure they comply with Belgium’s gambling laws by removing loot boxes in their respective titles. Borderlands 3 Will Have Cross Play But Not At Launch

Cross-play has been been on the watch list for Borderlands 3 since April. At the time, however, publisher 2K couldn’t make any promises. Tomorrow, developer Gearbox is hosting a “celebration of togetherness” at the Borderlands website. Some speculated that the company was finally ready to lift the veil on cross-play, as well as announce some other unknown features. Unfortunately, tomorrow’s big goofy jamboree won’t have anything to do with cross-play. However, Gearbox head and walking PR disaster Randy Pitchford confirmed today that the feature will be added some time after launch....

Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 7 Episode 6 Review Trying

This Brooklyn Nine-Nine review contains spoilers. Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 Episode 6 Last week I lamented that Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 had failed to deliver a truly great episode, let alone one that would crack our list of all-time favorites, but the show made me eat my words immediately. Not only is “Trying” the most emotional episode of the season thus far, it’s also the funniest and most experimental as well....

Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War Cross Gen Bundle Suggests No Free Upgrade For Next Gen

Three editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have been leaked, and the “Cross-Gen Bundle” seems to suggest that players will have to shell out for a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version of the game. However, the existence of a “Cross-Gen Bundle” implies that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War won’t be opting into Smart Delivery, or anything of the like. It seems like this edition will parcel the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 versions in one, and the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions in another....

Altered Carbon Season 2 Review Spoiler Free

This spoiler-free review is based on the first three episodes of Altered Carbon season 2 but contains spoilers for season 1. Altered Carbon pulled out all the stops in season one, introducing viewers to a cyberpunk world ruled by wealthy nigh-immortals and others who, for a price, can digitally transfer their consciousness into new bodies. But with the audience’s cynical proxy embodied by Joel Kinnaman as Takeshi Kovacs, a soldier from a previous era who is awakened to defend the powerful, viewers might be wondering what will happen now that the characters in season one are either dead or have been forced to take on different “sleeves” with new actors embodying them?...
