After a series of intense battles over three days, and after struggling for the past three years, Team USA has finally claimed the gold in the Overwatch League World Cup. The competition began on Halloween, the day before BlizzCon 2019 began. Teams fought in the Preliminaries for a place beside USA, South Korea, Canada, China, and France in the Group Stage. The Group Stage took place on November 1, the first day of BlizzCon, running all day long....

Bloodborne title update 1.03 is out now and as promised claims to improve loading times – one of the major issues with the acclaimed PS4 game. Borderlands was not a game that made a small splash by any stretch of the imagination. The Gearbox Software developed title brought a diablo style loot system to a first person co-op shooter, giving gamers over 1 million possible guns to be found. So far however, Gearbox has been rather hushed about what’s going on with a sequel to its critically acclaimed game. A recently discovered resume for an artist and animator named James Mosingois may have relevealed prematurely that Borderlands 2 is in development at Gearbox....

Early details about Borderlands 3’s upcoming Blood Harvest event, the online multiplayer game’s first, have been datamined. Borderlands 3 launched just this past week, but dedicated players are already anxious for the game’s first post-launch content. On Tuesday Gearbox released the game’s 2019 Fall/Winter Content Calendar, revealing the Bloody Harvest and Maliwan Takedown free DLC releases. Details about both free updates were scant until dataminers discovered Bloody Harvest hints in Borderlands 3’s game files....

Borderlands 3 players who main Moze are understandably frustrated right now. With the Flakker shotgun nerf, explosive builds are feeling less viable than ever, and the Iron Bear just isn’t cutting it compared to other builds. It feels a bit like Gearbox is leaving Moze behind compared to Zane, Amara, and Fl4k. But Gearbox, at the very least, is aware of the situation. Nintendo has announced that Legend of Zelda & Crypt of the Necrodancer crossover Cadence of Hyrule has recieved some free DLC in the form of a new update that adds a new storyline and a Dungeons mode to the game. The new storyline, Octavo’s Ode stars Octavo – the main villain of the game – that lets you explore the character’s true intentions as to why he wanted to take over Hyrule, and sees you play as him with his own signature weapon/instrument – the Golden Lute....

Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will receive two betas prior to the game’s launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this autumn. The first taster for the upcoming military first-person shooter drops in August, and will give you a chance to test out the traditional multiplayer experience. Banjo-Kazooie creator Steve Mayles has been proud of his bear and bird duo lately. Both Banjo and Kazooie have really come back into the spotlight with their recent announcement as playable fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, in a recent column at Video Games Chronicle, Mayles wrote that the upswing in the duo’s popularity could lead to something more. At least, that what he hopes. Mayles is now calling on Microsoft, the current owner of Banjo-Kazooie, for remakes of the classic games....

Batman: Arkham Knight’s next batch of DLC rolls out today with the release of the 2016 Batman v Superman Batmobile Pack, available first to Season Pass holders. The pack includes the Batsuit and Batmobile from the Warner Bros. Pictures film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The 2016 Batman v Superman Batmobile Pack will also be available free to all players from December 1. Also out today are two new Arkham Episodes, which give players the ability to control Catwoman and Robin....

The voice cast for Batman: Arkham Knight has been revealed by Warner Bros, with a host of familiar faces from film and TV joining Arkham regulars. Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) joins the cast as James Gordon, Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga) as Barbara Gordon, John Noble (Sleepy Hollow, Fringe) as Scarecrow and Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, Hart of Dixie) as Nightwing.
