Annie Wersching, the original actor responsible for portraying Tess in The Last of Us, has died due to cancer. She was 45. The news of her passing broke on Jan. 29 via a post by The Game Awards made through their official Twitter account. Larian Studios premiered the first reveal of Baldur’s Gate 3 gameplay last night, and the anticipated role-playing game is looking very good (via games radar). Battlefield 4’s latest expansion ‘Night Operations’ is rolling out on all platforms today, DICE has announced. The update includes a new night-time version of the game’s Zavod 311 map, plus “several improvements” to gadgets that allow players to wage war in the dark. Players are also able to take advantage of the dark environment by destroying lights, and by using the night-time fog to flank players. The DLC will be available to all Battlefield 4 players completely free of charge....

DICE has revealed that Battlefield V’s battle royale mode, Firestorm, is being handled by Burnout developer Criterion Games. The studio had previously revealed that it wasn’t directly working on the battle royale mode, although at the time it didn’t confirm who was.
