KartKraft, the highly acclaimed sim that was so good Motorsport Games went and bought it all up and set up a new Australian studio for some of the team at original developer Black Delta, is finally leaving early access and having its full launch today. Having first hit Steam in 2018, Motorsport Games moved in on KartKraft last year, and the full release will see some 10 laser-scanned tracks, 20 kart manufacturers and plenty by way of mod support....

Bandai Namco has pledged 100 million yen - that’s around £650,000 - to help humanitarian efforts in Ukraine following Russia’s illegal and devastating invasion. “The Bandai Namco Group has decided to make a donation of 100 million yen to Save the Children in support of their humanitarian cause for people affected by the crisis in Ukraine and seeking refuge outside the country,” the company said by way of a statement shared on its social media channels....

The first trailer for Battlefield Hardline expansion Criminal Activity has been released, giving fans a closer look at some of the new maps featured in the DLC. Available to Battlefield Premium members in June, Criminal Activity features the maps Backwoods, Code Blue, The Beat and Black Friday. Also included are three new weapons, two new vehicles, six new masks, a new gadget and a nailgun pickup. Criminal Activity will release first to Premium members then two weeks later to all other players, although a standalone price has yet to be confirmed....

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Awakening DLC is coming to last-gen after all, Activision has announced – but by the looks of it, only on PS3. The DLC will finally be available on PS3 from next Tuesday, April 5 for $14.99, and throws in four new multiplayer maps and the next Zombies chapter. It was previously believed to be exclusive to current-gen consoles and PC. There doesn’t yet appear to be any plans for a release on Xbox 360, however, with Activision only confirming Awakening for PS3....

Bungie has said it’ll be giving fans to “witness what’s next” for Destiny 2 as part of a developer showcase scheduled to air on 23rd August. While Bungie’s official announcement didn’t share specifics about the livestream, the developer has already been extremely forthcoming regarding the next few years for Destiny 2, so it’s almost certain August will see the developer showcasing its previously announced, but still mysterious, Lightfall expansion. Revealed back in June 2020, Lightfall - which is currently expected to launch sometime in 2023 - will be Destiny 2’s penultimate expansion, coming between this year’s The Witch Queen and the game’s finale expansion The Final Shape....
