EA and DICE have revealed the details of the next chapter of Battlefield V’s ongoing content updates, with several maps coming to the shooter over the next few months. On June 27, the first new map will drop. Entitled Al Sundan, it’ll see the fight taken to the North African desert with a ’lush desert coast’ and ‘contrasting harsh environments’ promised. Then in July, it’s back to Greece for the new Martia map....

A musical based on BioShock from California’s John Burroughs High School Powerhouse choir has won the Hart Encore 2022 show choir competition. The choir performed a series of songs that together tell the story of Rapture, the iconic underwater city from the first entry in the game series. The likes of Andrew Ryan, Brigid Tenenbaum, and Sander Cohen all feature, singing classics like Proud Mary - the lyrics switched to “rolling underwater”, of course....

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick held an internal meeting on the morning of 20th January to address employee concerns about the Microsoft acquisition. Treyarch has revealed that future Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 updates will be geared towards improving network performance. The studio has been doing a pretty consistent job of polishing the military shooter since its launch on October 12, with numerous updates having rolled out to date. With those out of the way, Treyarch is now looking to knuckle down on ‘fine-tuning network performance around the globe.’ ‘We’re constantly working to optimize the game, and particularly network performance, to ensure the highest quality online experience for our players,’ the developer posted on Reddit....
In the past, I’ve grilled the landscape of American Truck Simulator due to it mostly being a huge swath of dry, rocky terrain.
