Hideki Kamiya, the director of PlatinumGames’ recently released Astral Chain, has just responded on Twitter to a number of online demands for a PS4 port of the game. His reply is a definitive confirmation that the game will pretty much never see the light of day on a console other than one released by the game’s publisher, Nintendo. Kamiya’s statement on the matter is likely a response to a recent review bomb, in which Metacritic users have been posting bad faith negative reviews of the game, not expressing genuine complaints about the game’s quality but solely acting on sore feelings about its Nintendo exclusivity....

The American University Hearthstone team have been banned from competitive tournaments for holding up a sign that said ‘Free Hong Kong, Boycott Blizz’ during the American Collegiate Hearthstone Championship (via Reddit). EA has released it financial report for the year, highlighting the ongoing growth of its live-service games.
