Bethesda has announced that it will be bringing its next batch of titles, including Doom Eternal, Rage 2, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood to Steam. BioWare’s General Manager, Casey Hudson, has stated that he wants to fix workplace problems after an article by Kotaku stated that many of the company’s employees suffered from anxiety and depression. A recent ambiguous tweet from Bluepoint Games might be teasing Demon’s Souls or Castlevania remakes. With four main entries and a spinoff Telltale game, the Borderlands franchise has introduced a plethora of characters. On November 20, Borderlands 3 fans will get their first glimpse at the first major story DLC coming to the game. It isn’t wholly uncommon for Early Access games to begin ambitiously, only to drastically reduce scope when the finish line eventually gets crossed. Breathedge starts off strongly, albeit with problems telegraphing its mechanics and progression. The Early Access content provided a large, connected sandbox with base building and a lot to upgrade and explore. The 1.0 version launches this week with the rest of the game’s chapters, unfortunately changing gameplay genres and its focus along the way....

Its own free-to-play MMO action RPG Lost Ark is due out on 11th February, and Prime members can get exclusive in-game items. Five games will also be available to download for free. There’s Paradox’s space strategy game Stellaris; bleak survival game Ashwalkers; turn-based city builder As Far As The Eye; rhythm zombie shooter Double Kick Heroes; and football game Golazo! Soccer League. These five games will be available from 1st February....

ASRock has become the first manufacturer to support AMD Ryzen 5000 desktop CPUs on its X370 motherboards. Support has been confirmed thanks to a screenshot from Twitter user, KOMACHI_ENSAKA. Ryzen 5000 CPUs have worked perfectly fine on much cheaper motherboards in the past. This is just the first one to properly support the 5000 Series, though it isn’t known if AMD has given this latest BIOS version the official blessing. This does raise some other questions though, particularly when it comes to how AMD is locking off its hardware....

After spending recent weeks teasing new features for American Truck Simulator, the folks over at SCS Software have rather speedily granted players access to them via a new open beta. This beta is version 1.37, which adds a good chunk of new toys to play with, most of which have been shown off prior. SEGA have purchased Amplitude Studios, creators of Endless Legend and Endless Space, giving the publisher quite an impressive collection of PC strategy titles. Relic’s Dawn of War, Creative Assembly’s Total War and Sports Interactive’s Football Manager are all already published by the company. As a result of this acquisition, SEGA will now be publishing Endless Space 2, which is said to be going into Early Access “later this year”, and will assume publishing responsibilities for the Amplitude back-catalogue....
