Respawn Entertainment has just released a minor Apex Legends update that makes a few changes to Arenas, including punishing quitters with penalties similar to those in Ranked Battle Royale matches. The update also makes some small changes to Wattson and Valkyrie. Plus, gives the loot pool a little once over. Starting with the Legend updates, Wattson’s fence will once again slow players when they come into contact with it. As for Valkyrie, there’s now a short input delay after you activate her Ultimate ability to prevent you from instantly canceling it....

Arkane Studios’ Co-Creative Director Harvey Smith said that the decision to make Emily Kaldwin a playable character in Dishonored 2 came about because of the criticism the developer received for having so few female characters in the original game that were rich. This Arrow review contains spoilers. Arrow Season 7 Episode 17 Oliver learned a hard lesson in tonight’s episode: you can’t save someone who doesn’t want to be saved. It’s yet another learning moment for him (although a bit of a repeat…) that doesn’t come as much of a surprise, but does bring a truly excellent fight, including back-to-back arrow deflections. One downside to the way this story unfolded is that it doesn’t leave much room to critique Oliver’s very real need to play hero even when it’s unnecessary or patently unhelpful....

Assassins Creed Odyssey has been out for around four months now, and the game is still maintaining its relevancy. Now that might be in part because the game is genuinely massive; the map is huge and between the conquest battles, side missions, and the main storyline, it took a bit of time before the fans were able to dissect everything. Occasionally I’ll come across an indie game that just isn’t harboring the attention it deserves. In the case of Unspeakable Pixels’ new Metroidvania, Batbarian, that couldn’t be more true. BioWare’s 4v1 online action-RPG ‘Shadow Realms’ has been cancelled.
