Bioware has announced that it has made the difficult decision to to cease new development work on Anthem, effectively cancelling a planned reboot of the game. In an update on the Bioware blog, the studio wrote “In the spirit of transparency and closure we wanted to share that we’ve made the difficult decision to stop our new development work on Anthem (aka Anthem NEXT). We will, however, continue to keep the Anthem live service running as it exists today....

Dear Villagers and Nameless XIII have announced that survival adventure Ashwalkers will arrive on Nintendo Switch on March 10. The game originally launched for the PC last year. It sees a group of survivors of a geological disaster set out into a post-apocalyptic world. These survivors, known as ‘The Squad’ will face many moral dilemmas, and it’ll be your choices that decide their fate. You’ll have to manage the party themselves, their food supplies, equipment and more as you progress through the non-linear narrative....

The graphics of the game were exceptional, but the determination and ambition of Bayek and his wife are the reason why players buy the game. You explore the ancient world they have recreated, and some areas are better than others. A few of these areas were created with an artist’s touch, while others failed to see the bigger picture....

FIFA may have all the players and teams, but Konami has announced a “top-level” partnership with FC Barcelona which will see the club’s Camp Nou stadium recreated exclusively in PES 2017 and beyond. “This is a real statement of intent for us,” explained Tomotada Tashiro, president of Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. “By working closely with a team of Barcelona’s stature we can introduce the PES series to a huge global fan base....
