Both will be a part of the previously announced Assassin’s Creed Infinity project. Neither of them had full titles yet, but have been given temporary codenames. Assassin’s Creed Origins is a pretty good game (eight out of ten good, if you’re wondering) but as with most AAA games these days, it’s not standing still. Over the weekend Ubisoft unveiled details of what’s coming to the game for the rest of this month. Announced in a blog post on the official website, first on the docket is the addition of a new super-hard difficulty setting called Nightmare, where enemies will be ‘more resilient to damages’, as well as a new Enemy Scaling option that will see enemies of previously low levels scaled up to yours, to make sure returning to earlier encounters will remain a challenge....

A message on the Assassin’s Creed Facebook page left by non-other than series villain Doctor Warren Vidic has got tongues wagging. The doctor appeared on Facebook and left the following message: “It is the time of our rising. A new age enters and a great battle looms. Templar destiny is at hand and waiting for you. – Dr. Vidic” E3 2010 is set for mid June. We’d be surprised if we didn’t hear something more about Assassin’s Creed then....

Square Enix has announced that Babylon’s Fall will be coming to PlayStation 5 as well as the previously announced PS4 and PC versions when it launches, alongside some new information on the game. An action RPG from Nier Automata developer Platinum Games, Babylon’s Fall will be a co-operative action RPG. You’ll be playing as characters known as Sentinels, each carrying a Gideon Coffin on their back. Rather than just a heavy backpack, these coffins can sprout tendrils allowing you to wield up to four weapons at a time....

Bad Boys 3 or Bad Boys for Life, has been, up until now, a long-kept secret. The difficulty, as producer Jerry Bruckheimer said back in summer 2013, centered on the task of reuniting its duo headlining personnel. Back then, he was “trying to find a hole in Will Smith’s schedule.” Having finally overcome dilatory issues, the long-awaited threequel revives the popular buddy cop film franchise of 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II, both of which were directed by Michael Bay....

Bandai Namco Games has revealed that it’s working on a new instalment in the Tales Of franchise. The publishing giant revealed the news during its Tales of Festival 2018 in Japan, although no further details were confirmed at the time. Tales of Berseria was released back in August 2016, although the series has been quiet since then. Well, sort of. We’re getting Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition later this year, which is an enhanced version of the original 2008 JRPG....

DICE has super-glued a January 17 release date to the second chapter of Battlefield V’s Tides of War offering. We’ve known for a while that chapter two will be titled Lightning Strikes, although it’s only now we know exactly when we’ll be able to get stuck in. Vehicles will play a vital role in Lightning Strikes, which will also introduce multiplayer mode Rush, a special Grand Operations mission, and Squad Conquest....

US senator Bernie Sanders recently tweeted out his support of the Game Workers Unite organisation that looks to unionise the games industry. Along with a Time article that speaks about developers being burned out and looking for change, Sanders said ’the video game industry made $43 billion in revenue last year. The workers responsible for that profit deserve to collectively bargain as part of a union.' Following the news of Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV getting delayed, Blizzard Co-Leader Jen Oneal has announced she’s leaving the company. Oneal stepped into the role, alongside Mike Ybarra, only three months ago when former Blizzard President J. Allen Brack departed. She announced that she will move to a new position before leaving the company at “the end of the year.” Mike Ybarra takes over as the leader of Blizzard starting today....

The day before Borderlands 3 officially launched, it was revealed that Photo Mode and the Twitch Echocast Extension would be limited to PC players for a short time.
