A new report on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey suggests the upcoming stab-happy sandbox title will include even more role-playing game elements. Multiple sources speaking to Kotaku claim that Odyssey will introduce dialogue options, which will be a first for an Assassin’s Creed game. Not only that, but you’ll have a choice of a male or female protagonist. Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Bayek, and Aya did not appear, though you probably wouldn’t expect them too....

Bayonetta 3 was reportedly “scoped as a semi open-world game”. That’s according to games journalist Imran Khan, who offered an insider peek at the sequel’s lengthy delay on his Patreon, reflecting on why those open world rumours seemingly didn’t amount to anything in the end. “At one point in development, Bayonetta 3 was scoped as a semi-open world game,” Khan wrote on a public Patreon post. “The design was going to draw more off Astral Chain than Nier Automata, but the idea was that a large hub world would send Bayonetta (or whoever else) to different worlds which would themselves be fairly open....

BioShock: The Collection has been rated for PS4, Xbox One and PC by the Taiwanese ratings board. The listing (pictured above) includes a piece of previously unseen artwork – possibly the game’s boxart – which features both underwater city Rapture and city-in-the-sky Columbia, suggesting all three BioShock games could be being remastered for current-gen consoles. Blizzard has made a change to its refund policy, allowing refunds on request for Warcraft III: Reforged. In a post on Battle.net, the company said, “we want to give players the option of a refund if they feel that Warcraft III: Reforged does not provide the experience they wanted.” Warcraft III: Reforged—a remaster of an RTS that first released in 2002—launched last week, for PC and Mac.
