Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has officially wrapped development, or gone gold as industry folk like to say. The upcoming stealth-action title arrives on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 5, so you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on the epic Greek adventurer. The fact the game has hit gold status means there won’t be any delays, either. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey follows up on last year’s Origins, and further embraces the RPG mechanics that Ubisoft began flirting with in 2017....

This month’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update adds a fresh area to your Ravensthorpe settlement, tied into a neat new gameplay feature: gear loadouts. Constructing the new armory hut will let you show off up to five loadouts and easily swap between them via the game’s main menu, so you can build gear for specific situations and shuffle amongst them on the fly. It’s a handy feature which was also added post-launch to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Valhalla’s predecessor, and no doubt will also encourage a few people to go splash out further on some of this game’s flashier cosmetic armour sets....

Assemble with Care released on Steam today after first releasing as a mobile title on Apple Arcade in October of 2019. The game is about restoring various objects and antiques that come the player’s way via meaningful puzzles. Its meditative scenes and methodical puzzles offer a lighter, uplifting gaming experience. However, Assemble with Care lacks the challenge or length necessary to keep more seasoned gamers engaged. The story takes place in the fictional vacation destination of Bellariva, where Maria, a “globe-trotting antique restorer,” has arrived to pick up some work....

Baldur’s Gate III will finally be playable starting August this year. Well, maybe. The early access announcement trailer was shown today during the Guerrilla Collective showcase. The team behind battle royale Deathverse: Let It Die has confirmed that it will be indefinitely suspended just four months after it debuted on Steam and PlayStation consoles. Developer Supertrick Games says it’s temporarily suspending the free-to-play game due to ongoing “challenges”, saying that since launch, the game has been plagued with issues concerning “in-game matchmaking and lag”. It plans to “redevelop” the game whilst it is offline. The service will go dark at 3am UK time on 18th July 2023, and no relaunch date has yet been confirmed....

EA has announced the first details on Battlefield Hardline Premium. Available for £39.99, Battlefield Hardline Premium grants players access to four “super features”, including the option to visually customise weapons, access competitive tournaments and gameplay-modifying masks, as well as two weeks early access to Hardline’s four expansion packs. A mysterious yet exciting image from BioWare’s newest teaser trailer was released, depicting a dark, gritty and potentially fatal scene. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s PS4 trophy list has appeared online, revealing a brand new ‘Realistic’ difficulty setting and a hint at the game’s multiplayer level cap. Judging by the trophies, Realistic appears to be the game’s new highest difficulty, although it will still be joined by Call of Duty’s existing difficulty settings Hardened and Veteran. Fans have waited seven years for Borderlands 3, but the game’s launch hasn’t been quite as smooth as one might have hoped. Consoles players have reported a variety of Borderlands 3 performance issues, including severe split-screen lag, crashing, and other problems. Following on from yesterday’s news that quite a few Destiny 2 PC players were apparently being banned for their use of third-party software. The game’s developer, Bungie, has responded clarifying that it’s banned ‘approximately 400 players’, and not the droves of players that have been reported elsewhere. Bungie has also promised that it wouldn’t issue bans for the use of overlays or performance tools, including Discord, Xsplit, OBS, RTSS. The developer stated that, ‘bans were applied to players who were using tools that pose a threat to the shared ecosystem of the game....

New World’s Gameplay Being an online survival game, New World mainly focuses on player interactions and has several ways for users to co-operate and protect their online person and belongings.
