Sony is definitely pushing through on the film side of things, with first Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter, with the latter now being able to count on the star power of Ariana DeBose. As reported by Variety, DeBose will be playing Calypso, the voodoo priestess that has a complicated relationship with Kraven. Calypso first appeared in the Spider-Man comics back in the early 1980s as a foe, and if things go as expected, we will likely see Kraven and her join hands to get up to dastardly plots....

This series of images was shared on Reddit by user M_S_1. Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment has announced that the Asian region release of Onechanbara Origin will contain English subtitles and voice-overs in addition to support for a few other languages. An HD remaster/remake of the first two PS2 entries, Origin was announced back at TGS 2018. At the time, it was unknown if a western release was in the cards. The Assassin’s Creed series can be considered in two halves, one being the games that featured Desmond Miles as the character whose story we followed, and the other being the self-contained sequels who just do their own thing with no set storyline. Mark Strong, who you’ll probably know for starring in Kingsman and Kick-Ass, will be appearing in Battlefield V as a narrator for the game’s single-player campaign, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed. Specifically, Strong will provide the voiceovers for the prologue and epilogue in Battlefield V’s War Stories, which focus on some of the lesser-known (but equally crucial) battles from the conflict. We could see a future Batman film written by the man currently wearing the cowl and cape, Ben Affleck’s agent has told Hollywood Reporter. “He’s contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape,” said WME-IMG’s Patrick Whitesell. “There’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.” Reports of Affleck working on his own Batman idea were first heard back at San Diego Comic-Con last year, said to not only be working on the script but would also direct and star in the film....
