At last month’s launch, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla didn’t contain any form of paid XP boosts. It was a welcome change for sure, though, the omission seemed strange as the previous entry, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, did contain them. However, Ubisoft has decided to add them to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla post launch, making paid XP boosts a way to speed up progression. In all honesty, I’m not a fan of this way of doing things....

New details on 2018’s Battlefield game, which is rumoured to be titled Battlefield V and takes place in World War II, have surfaced on GamesBeat following last week’s initial leak. Treyarch has confirmed that Blackout, the battle royale offering for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, will be available as a free trial on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One for those interested in taking it for a spin.
