Blizzard Entertainment has set a date for Overwatch’s new female hero, Brigitte Lindholm, confirming the armour-clad support character will be rolling out on the live severs on March 20. While she technically functions in a supporting role, Brigitte isn’t afraid of mixing it up on the front lines, which is probably a good thing as her abilities include dishing out armour and healing perks for nearby teammates. Brigitte also comes equipped with a Rocket Flail to flatten enemies with in combat, and can also deploy a shield that is capable of soaking up a decent amount of damage allowing you to get some much-needed down time in the heat of battle....

Destiny developer Bungie has announced it has parted ways with Activision after eight years, with the company now taking on full publishing responsibilities for the sci-fi shooter franchise going forward. It’s a surprising move considering both companies had previous committed to a 10-year deal back in 2010, spawning the original Destiny and its sequel in 2014 and 2017, respectively. As part of the deal, Activision published the games while Bungie retained ownership of the franchise....

We see different characters getting the spotlight throughout the one-minute trailer, with Elrond (Robert Aramayo), Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and Isildur (Maxim Baldry) the names most would recognise. With inspiration from Tolkien’s timeline in The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will also feature new characters and additions. The Rings of Power will tell a tale set during the Second Age of Middle-earth. This means that it’ll take place thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Heroes and villains both familiar and brand-new will make appearances as kingdoms rise and fall. The trailer was shown off by the show’s official Twitter page earlier today. It is a top of the line behemoth that supposedly can trade blows with Nvidia’s RTX 3090. This American Dad review contains spoilers. American Dad Season 15 Episode 15 “May the record show that my son-in-law has no identity!” As a warning, this episode is a whole lot crazier then it seems like it will be, and it deserves serious credit for the fact that by the end, there’s an exorcism being performed on Jeff to remove a gluttonous, immortal demon. This is an episode about relationship problems, so “Flavortown” becomes a standout installment simply for taking such a cliché premise and going to some utterly bizarre places....

After weeks of hyping it up, SCS Software has officially released the full version of the new update 1.40 for American Truck Simulator. This new update introduces a completely revamped lighting engine, resulting in a notable increase in visual fidelity. But, even more is included such as new chassis types, truck updates, and scenery updates. The artists have retouched the “majority of the in-game assets, textures, and materials to better work with the new physical model of the new light system....

20 months after developer SCS announced American Truck Simulator was setting its sights on Texas as one of its next destinations, the long-in-the-works expansion finally has a release date and is coming to Steam next Tuesday, 15th November. Texas will be American Truck Simulator’s 11th explorable state, joining California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. It was confirmed to be in development last March, but SCS warned the expansion could be a long time coming given the sheer effort required to bring one of the US’ largest states into the game....

EA and Respawn Entertainment have released the gameplay trailer for the upcoming newest update for battle royale shooter Apex Legends known as Season 8: Mayhem. Respawn has released a series of patch notes for the next Apex Legends update that will drop early next week, which will correct the bug that allows players to stick items to Gibraltar’s Gun Shield and audio issues in the game.
