Apex Legends continues to roll through its eighth season and shows no signs of slowing down. The roster of selectable legends has grown from six to 17 in the newly announced Apex Legends Legacy update. The last legend added was Fuse, a grenade toting hardass with a mullet designed for entry-level players. The Apex Legends Legacy update is planned for May 4 and will introduce recently revealed pilot Kairi ‘Valkyrie’ Imahara, Bocek Bow weapon, and modify its newest map – Olympus....

ustwo games’ Assemble with Care will come to PC on March 26 (via Eurogamer). It’s a pastelised puzzle game, with a quiet and pensive story weaved within the fixer upper projects the player taps and twirls to restore. Maria, the repair-woman who wants to travel the world, meets the citizens of Bellariva, and learns about them through their possessions. She patches up a record player, she reconstructs a vintage camera, and she fixes a rotary phone across thirteen individual levels....

Ubisoft have provided notes for a forthcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins patch, which will take the game to version 1.05. This update will come to the PC, but the release date is currently listed as “to be confirmed”. It comes to consoles on 16 November and 20 November. In terms of specific PC fixes in this coming patch, it looks like “hardware performance metrics” for AMD 2xx cards are being fixed, and some problems with Ultra HD, multi-monitor, and multi-GPU set-ups are being addressed as well....

Well, the inevitable news has at last arrived. Axiom Verge 2 will indeed make its way over to PC, but as a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store. Prior to today’s announcement during the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase, Axiom Verge 2 was only confirmed as a Nintendo Switch release. The original game was made available on PC, however, so we weren’t worried. Not even in the least. Axiom Verge 2 is a sequel nearly six years in the making....

Today Netflix released a new trailer of the upcoming Bastard!! anime series. The trailer focuses on introducing the cast of characters that will prove very familiar to veterans fans of the manga, Of course, a big part of the screen time is taken by the “extremely handsome protagonist” Dark Schneider. This comes a couple of weeks before the anime series’ highly anticipated debut on Netflix on June 30, 2022. It’s worth mentioning that we’re getting only the first 12 episodes for now, as the second batch from episodes 13 to 24 will come later this year, albeit we don’t know precisely when....

EA has declared that its much-delayed Season One of post-launch Battlefield 2042 content will now arrive in early June. The update came alongside the patch notes for the troubled shooter’s latest 4.1 update dropping today. This week’s update is said to be final one in DICE’s calendar before Season One arrives, reads the message. The team say they’ll provide a full overview and update notes closer to the release. In the meantime, update 4....

Battlefield 5’s Chapter 5 launched October 31 and reinvigorated the online multiplayer shooter. The War in the Pacific is a wildly different experience than the style of gameplay of the European theater. The Iwo Jima and Pacific Storm maps were both well-received, but EA DICE has been saving the best for last. The third map of Battlefield 5’s Chapter 5, Wake Island, is almost ready to go live. Today DICE confirmed that Wake Island will be launching on December 12....

Beetlejuice and Wicked Witch in Season One Following Patch 1.02 which kicked off the beginning of Season 1 It seems that a plethora of voice lines from Beetlejuice and Wicked Witch! Todd Howard, executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, has revealed he’s not all that keen on remastering 2002’s The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind or the original Fallout. Speaking with The Guardian, Howard, who may very well have a leather jacket that’s even cooler than my own, said he’s chuffed that the fantasy-RPG is backwards compatible on Xbox One, preferring this method to remastering the game. He also feels similarly about the original Fallout, saying people can just play it on the PC if they want to relive the game....
