Eridium artifacts, otherwise known as Relics, have been around throughout the entire series in some form. Originally, in Borderlands, they functioned much the same way Action Skill Augments do now. This time around, artifacts have a variety of modifiers and variables that can be applied to them, and depending on the RNG (random number generator), they can get pretty absurd....

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed the list of best-selling games on the PlayStation Store for October, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 pipping Red Dead Redemption 2 to the number one spot. Treyarch’s military shooter claimed pole position in the US and Europe last month, with Red Dead Redemption 2 having to settle for second place in both territories. Things shake up a bit more after that, with FIFA 19 performing slightly better in Europe than the US....

Interplay Entertainment has announced that it is remastering Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II for modern consoles. The game, eighteen years after its original release, will be out later this month. It will include the local co-op, and you will still be guiding five heroes through some eighty levels....
EA will launch a Premium service for Battlefield Hardline, the game’s beta has confirmed. Signs of the subscription service can be found in the beta’s customisation menu (pictured above), where a range of wearable patches are listed exclusively for Premium subscribers. “Premium subscribers will find these Patches in Silver and Gold Battlepacks,” their description reads. The range of patches offered to subscribers appear to be themed around animals, including a shark, dinosaur and lion....
