Bethesda has announced that it has opened its online European merchandise store. The online store offers a huge range of licensed merch from Bethesda brands including the likes of, DOOM, Fallout, Dishonored, The Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein, The Evil Within, Quake and more. It’s not been confirmed if you can buy a PS4 Pro performance patch for Prey. The Bethesda European Store, like its namesake, ships to all European countries, which includes us for a while longer, and even ships worldwide....

Treyarch has rolled out a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update, bringing the popular Nuketown map to the PC and Xbox One versions of the military shooter. The studio is also kicking off its first Quad Feed for Black Ops 4, offers 2XP in multiplayer and Zombies, plus 2X Tier Boost, 2X Merits, and 2X Nebulium Plasma for all versions of the game through November 26. Black Ops 4’s latest update also squashes a massive 70+ bugs for Zombies, while Blackout has seen improvements that reduce screen jittering, and the Bowie Knife is now available more readily than before, including being found in Equipment Stashes....

All Xbox One consoles can now be turned into dev kits, Microsoft announced at Build 2016 yesterday. With Xbox Dev Mode it’s now possible for developers to build and experiment with Universal Windows Platform to test their apps and games. The mode is only currently available in a preview environment, however, and as such should currently only be used by experienced developers. But it won’t be long until the final Dev Mode launches with a new Windows 10 Anniversary Update coming this summer....

The Playstation Network is still down and doesn’t look to be getting back on anytime soon. At times, they’re considered greedy cash grabs, or perhaps a means to gain a sense of pride and accomplishment. Then again, there are instances when they can be implemented well, such as in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as we’ve previously detailed. In the case of Apex Legends, it’s a completely free-to-play game. There’s no ifs or buts about it — it needs additional monetization methods to stay afloat....

For a title garnering zero anticipation ahead of its release, Respawn’s Apex Legends is making a real mark. The game, which puts players in squads of three before having them jump into a battle royale setting consisting of a total of 60 gamers, recorded over 10 million players in its first 72 hours. A week since the release, the developers have seen over 25 million users drop-in. The game also saw 2 million concurrent players bust their guns at one point....

Apex Legends is going to get its own esports league, featuring local and online events, called the Apex Legends Global Series. Developer Respawn is planning 12 live events for the league’s first year, with over $3 million prize money available to winners. Registration for the Apex Legends Global Series will open in January, 2020, and is only available to PC players. The first tournament will be held online on January 25, and it will be available to players in 60 countries across the world....

Respawn has dished out a new Apex Legends update, nerfing two of the game’s more powerful weapons. First up, the Peacekeeper re-chambers at a slower pace depending on which shotgun bolt is equipped. The Wingman now fires more slowly, and isn’t quite as accurate as before when firing from the hip. Both weapons now spawn less frequently, too. Elsewhere, energy ammo now appears more frequently, and hitboxes for Gibraltar, Caustic, and Pathfinder will be tweaked at the start of the game’s first season....

While the fans have to wait until May 5th, 2023 to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3, James Gunn and Marvel have decided to give the viewers a special Thanksgiving treat: The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. In the special, Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) have their own adventure, one where they’re trying to help Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) as he’s been depressed lately. Ubisoft has arguably created a masterpiece with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as it takes everything that made Assassin’s Creed Origins great and dialed it up to 10. Prior to Origins, there’s no arguing the franchise had become old hat, but then the Egyptian story broke that franchise fatigue. Odyssey then came in, knocking it out of the park, and leaving many excited to see what the franchise offers come 2020. However, until then, there is still plenty to do in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after beating the game, which is by no means a small feat itself....

Viking adventure Assassin’s Creed Valhalla welcomes its first post-launch event today, with the game celebrating the holiday season with a Yule Festival running from today until January 7. After updating your game, you’ll find your settlement Ravensthorpe newly decked out for the festival, with new various activities you can get involved in including drunken brawls, archery challenges and more. Taking part in these activities will earn you Yule Tokens which can be spent on special cosmetic awards for you and your settlement, including a Modraniht Ceremonial Outfit, a Tattoo Set and that old holiday favourite: a Sacrifical Altar....

Assetto Corsa launches on PS4 and Xbox One today so – you guessed it – there’s a Season Pass to go along with it. Priced £24.99, the Season Pass grants access to multiple future DLC packs, including the Japanese Pack, Red Pack and two Porsche DLC packs. Over 30 new cars are promised in total, along with the Red Bull track and an exclusive livery and theme. Assetto Corsa is a hardcore racing simulation from Italian developer Kunos Simulazioni....
