DICE has confirmed that Battlefield Currency, Battlefield V’s in-game cash that you buy with real-world money, will not be out in time for the game’s November launch. Fortunately, nothing has changed in regards to how these can be spent; they’re still only used to purchase cosmetic items, so Battlefield V remains free of any paid-to-win shenanigans. Probably best and all, after the whole Star Wars Battlefront II fiasco. DICE explained that the reason Battlefield Currency won’t be out on release is because they want players ’to get hands-on experience with their Company, the progression system, and earning Company Coin before introducing premium currency....
