Borderlands 3 won’t be giving players any additional playable characters, just in case you were hoping. New-gen gaming has led gamers to expect fresh DLC characters and, of course, Gearbox is probably more guilty of that than most creators. The developer has made adding story content, progression and characters habitual. However, the latest installment of Borderlands won’t be getting characters via DLC, according to creative director Paul Sage. If you already purchased Borderlands 3, you may or may not be disappointed to learn that you won’t be getting any new playable Vault Hunters to join Amara, Flak, Moze and Zane....

Bossa Studios has announced that its next project will take the form of a story-driven adventurer known as The Bradwell Conspiracy. The BAFTA-winning indie outfit revealed that the first-person title is in the works at A Brave Plan, a new team made up of industry veterans who have collectively worked on the likes of Fable, Batman, Tomb Raider, and Ether One. The Bradwell Conspiracy sees the protagonist waking up in the aftermath of an explosion, feeling a bit worse for wear....

This December sees the release of Bumblebee, the first spin-off movie from the wildly popular Transformers series. Set in 1987, the movie focuses on the origins of the title Autobot, one of the most beloved in the canon, and his budding friendship with a young girl named Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld). Described as a family-friendly coming-of-age movie, Bumblebee clearly has a much different tone from the five previous Transformers movies. This one is helmed by Travis Knight, head of the Laika animation studio and director of Kubo and the Two Strings, making it the first of the modern Transformers-related films not directed by Michael Bay....

Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will feature the series’ ubiquitous Zombies mode, as well as revealing it’s poured a boatload of resources into the PC version of the upcoming first-person shooter. As far as Zombies go that’s literally all that we know so far: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have zombies. Expect copious amounts of shambling undead, claret flying about all over the place, and a barmy storyline possibly complemented by a lineup of cinematic horror legends....

Nintendo is giving away themed paper bags to over 20,000 lucky Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players who subscribe to one of the two subscription services in the game (via My Nintendo News). The wait for developer Passion Republic Games’ wacky multiplayer kaiju brawler GigaBash has nearly come to an end. News surrounding the title has surfaced as far back as 2019, so those who found the concept too good to pass up have had plenty of time to let their hype for the game accumulate. But now, GigaBash will finally release today on the Epic Games Store, and apparently tomorrow on August 5 for Steam according to its store page....

A new multiplayer chapter called Into the Jungle is about to be released for Battlefield V. It will feature the Solomon Islands as the new theater of war, and along with it comes new weapons, gadgets, and elites.
