Developer Turtle Rock has announced that Back 4 Blood has welcomed over six million players since the zombie game launched last week. The studio announced the figure on its Twitter account to mark the milestone. It’s a very impressive start for what’s ostensibly a new IP, even if it is a clear successor to one of their previous titles Left 4 Dead. The number is also no doubt buffeted by the game launching directly onto Xbox Game Pass....

Vancouver studio Eggnut is bringing their gorgeous 2-d pixel noir game Backbone to PAX West this year. The game is a point-and-click adventure with elements of stealth and a healthy dose of hard-boiled fiction. The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight will soon be available to buy once again, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has said in a press release focussed on the game’s upcoming DLC. EA DICE has removed the 128-player Breakthrough offering from Battlefield 2042 in its latest patch. Update 4.1, which released today, has made substantial changes to the game’s All-Out Warfare playlists, which are available on current-gen consoles and PC. In a blog post, DICE explained the removal of 128-player Breakthrough lobbies was necessary to increase “the value and impact of an individual player”, as they currently were full of “intensity and chaos”....
