In the summer of 2016, my dad took my mum, my sister and I back to Hong Kong to see his parents. I was excited because I hadn’t seen them in so long, but I was also extremely nervous. What would they think of me? I hadn’t seen them in over 10 years, and didn’t have regular contact with them either. How would I be able to talk to them? Earlier this week at Computex 2022, AMD announced its new Ryzen 7000 CPUs, alongside its Socket AM5 motherboards. However, in all the excitement it looks like AMD incorrectly stated that Socket AM5 PPT limit of 170W. In actuality, these motherboards are able to supply up to 230W in power to the CPU. Raphaël Colantonio has revealed that nobody at Arkane Austin wanted Prey (2017) to be titled Prey, and how it felt “gross” to have release something under someone else’s IP. Colantonio, known as the founder of Arkane Studios, served as the game’s director and writer. He announced his departure from the studio shortly after the game’s release, citing burnout and a desire to spend time with his son. The fact that the game was never envisioned to be a part of the Prey IP isn’t new for fans of the game or Arkane....

A limited-edition series of Rise of the Tomb Raider posters created by four famous artists – Geof Darrow, Frank Kozik, La Boca, and Tara McPherson – has been revealed by Xbox and Crystal Dynamics. Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has not received an Adults Only rating. Yesterday, the Xbox Store page for Assassin’s Creed Mirage went live, listing the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game with an Adults Only rating by the ESRB. However, it turns out this was a mistake. In a statement given to Eurogamer, Ubisoft went on record denying the rating. The publisher says that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is still considered Rating Pending, which is the rating given to games that have not yet been assigned a final rating by the ESRB....

Stoic Studios, the developer of The Banner Saga series, is undertaking “new ambitions and aspirations” to produce a project that takes place in an all-new world with all-new stories (via Spieltimes). In 2011, the studio was formed when three BioWare employees—Alex Thomas, Arnie Jorgensen and John Watson—chose to leave the Dragon Age developer and make their “dream game.” This endeavour, titled The Banner Saga, was fully funded within two days of its Kickstarter going live with the total $700,000 raised letting the team build upon its original scope....

The expansion packs for LEGO Dimensions continue to move into fun pop culture areas, this time with packs for Cartoon Networks shows Teen Titans Go! and The Powerpuff Girls and, weirdly/excitingly, a Beetlejuice Pack. The Powerpuff Girls Team Pack includes Blossom and Bubbles, with Buttercup completing the trio in the Fun Pack.
