Battlefield 2042 has received an update from DICE enabling 64 players to play Conquest and Breakthrough on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. As spotted by our friends at Xbox Achievements, the smaller sized versions of the two modes are now available via the All-Out Warfare menu. Previously, the new-gen consoles and PC versions of the game boasted 128 player skirmishes for those modes. However, there wasn’t an option to have smaller sized matches in those modes, for more close-quarter skirmishes until now....

Ebb Software and Kepler Interactive have released nearly nine minutes of gameplay footage from Scorn, their upcoming first-person survival horror title inspired by the art of H. R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński. The prologue sees the protagonist, an unnamed humanoid, waking up in a surreal environment with no shortage of creepy set pieces and unnerving, angular designs that blur the line between living organisms and machines. H.R. Giger is well known for pioneering this aesthetic style of art and is best known for his work on Ridley Scott’s film Alien from 1979, on which he worked as a member of the movie’s special effects team....

Mike Ybarra, boss of Blizzard, has released a blog post laying out the steps he says will “rebuild trust” in the developer following the reports of toxic workplace culture and sexual harassment which emerged last summer. Ybarra is now Blizzard’s sole leader following the departure of former co-head Jen Oneal, who resigned from her role after only a couple of months. “2021 was challenging for all of us,” Ybarra wrote, in his first public message this year....

Since the season started with a battle between the Nine-Nine and Commissioner Kelly, it was inevitable that the finale would try to add some sort of resolution to this conflict, but in a wise move, it helped set-up a new fight against a far more worthy adversary for next season....

New details about Yellowjackets Season 2 features the latest debut of an unlikely duo between Misty (Christina Ricci) and a mysterious character played by Elijah Wood. As members of the Bureau of Citizen Detectives, the pair will conduct an unknown investigation in the upcoming installment. The Yellowjackets’ official Twitter account revealed an image of the two characters in a forest, where the network welcomed Elijah Wood to the cast. Activision has announced that it’s going to be flogging three Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 special editions. Punters will be able to throw their cash at the following: Digital Deluxe Edition, Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition, and the Pro Edition. There’s also a Black Ops Pass available for the Zombies mode. Okay, let’s get started. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the upcoming first-person shooter, the Black Ops Pass (Classified Bonus Zombies experience, four all-new Zombies experiences, 12 multiplayer maps, and four exclusive Blackout characters), Digital Bonus Items, and 2,400 Call of Duty Points....
