Sci-fi action platformer Blackwind will arriving on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo consoles and PC in mid January, it’s been announced. The game takes place on the alien planet of Medusa-42. The planet’s peace is shattered after an invasion by a brutal alien race known as the Raknos. Teen James Hawkins stumbles upon his father’s military battle mech prototype, and must use it and its AI named Blackwind to fight the Raknos threat and find his father....

BlizzCon 2019 officially begins today, November 1, with the convention’s Opening Ceremony expected to be full of major Blizzard game announcements. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been delayed by a month on PC, Ubisoft has confirmed. The game will now launch on PC on November 19, but is still set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One on October 23. The PC version of the game is being developed by Ubisoft Kiev, a different team to that of the home console version. There have been no PC specs revealed yet, but in a Ubisoft blog, studio production manager Sam Kovalev has confirmed it will have an unlocked framerate and resolution....
