Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now, and so far, the game has generated positive reviews from both the critics and the players. Not everyone is happy with the popular shooter game, though. There are some complaints about the game’s maps, and fans of the franchise think that Modern Warfare’s maps are much larger than what they used to be in previous iterations of the game. Some fans also complained that the maps feel as big as those of Battlefield games, which diminishes the traditional Call of Duty experience....

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, this year’s Assassin’s Creed game set in Victorian London, will feature both male and female protagonists, sources have told Kotaku. An official announcement is due to come at 5pm today, but two sources have allegedly told Kotaku that the game will star Jacob and Evie, siblings who are entrenched in the criminal underworld of Victorian London. The news comes around a year after Ubisoft came under a great deal of criticism for not including a playable female character in the cooperative Assassin’s Creed Unity....

Sales of Gearbox’s online shooter Battleborn are “tracking just ahead” of the original Borderlands, creative director Randy Varnell has revealed, describing the game’s launch as being “pretty good”. Speaking on Twitch, Varnell said that the studio is feeling “cautiously optimistic” about the game’s future, before adding: “The launch has been pretty good. We do a lot of comparisons back to the first Borderlands back in 2009 and that launch felt a lot similar for us....

This Black Lightning review contains spoilers. Black Lightning Season 2 Episode 10 Our long national nightmare has come to an end. Khalil and Jennifer’s runaway storyline on Black Lightning is over. It’s not that I don’t think this storyline had its moments, but it went on far too long and far too redundantly (these kids never even made it out of Freeland!) not to welcome its meaty conclusion. In “Angelitos Negros,” we finally get to see the repercussions of Khalil and Jen turning themselves in (it’s not pretty), but, first, we get a last dose of pretty effective runaway drama....
