The reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has leaked online ahead of its official unveiling later today. Event Horizon’s CRPG Tower Of Time has finally left Steam Early Access today. The released version comes with an entirely new set of levels and gameplay enhancements and players can expect around 50 hours of gameplay. The game has been heavily influenced by classics such as Baldur’s Gate and Might & Magic and players have to navigate their way through a mysterious tower to discover its secrets. One unique feature the developer are keen to tout is Arrow Time which is their version of bullet time for a CRPG which allows players to slow down time in strategic battles....
Reviews and impressions are in for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D from AMD and the immediate feedback seems to be pretty impressive. Suffice to say, the new 3D V-Cache technology featured in the AMD Ryzen 5800X3D looks like a big win for gaming performance. Intel has been giving AMD serious competition again since the release of its Alder Lake processors. Intel’s Core i9-12900K is an especially big powerhouse when it comes to performance....
Zen 4 is projected to be the next big thing for AMD CPUs, but the latest reports from established leakers suggest that the core count will not expand past 16 cores for the next generation. Instead, it seems that AMD will focus on improving performance in other ways, such as via IPC gains, cache, and frequency upgrades. These are just assumptions, of course. But we do know, according to AMD’s own Zen roadmap, that the next architecture will also feature a better process node to help achieve large improvements....
Dreams of an Ape Escape remake have been dashed as the official anniversary account for the series has shut down with no news (via Push Square). The account popped up in June 2019, and celebrated the new year in January 2020 with assurances of “lots of important information” to come. There were a few cryptic posts, along with a handful of new pieces of merchandise, but now, the account has sadly bid farewell to Ape Escape fans across the world....

Satoshi Igarashi, lead composer of Astral Chain, has detailed how music genre functions in his original score in the latest of a series of Dev Blogs posted to the PlatinumGames website. The basis for Igarashi’s soundtrack is the implementation of electronic, metal and orchestral elements. Obsidian has announced its next big RPG, called Avowed, at Microsoft’s July showcase. It features a fellow with a sword and glowing—presumably magic-infused—hand. It looks like a suitably fantastical RPG, and Obsidian is a developer of respected RPG pedigree—people really liked The Outer Worlds. Well, Damian’s going to be pissed. 35 issues after their engagement came to a tumultuous end, Batman and Catwoman are back together and are having a baby, according to art posted by writer Tom King on Twitter. The tweet shows Batman holding a pregnant Catwoman on the rooftops of Gotham, sharing a loving moment. You can see the picture above. While King may be teasing a storyline from his upcoming 12-issue maxiseries Batman/Catwoman, it’s more likely that this is art from another series or book....

Battlefield V players were frustrated when DICE released Update 5.2. The Swedish developer chose to gut the time to kill for most weapons, slowing down Battlefield‘s gameplay considerably. Now, a new patch, Update 6.2, has reverted all of these changes in response to the community’s complaints. Available today, Update 6.2 returns the base range damage of most weapons back to what they were during 5.0.
