AMC, the television network behind Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, has just announced its first foray into the gaming world, and it’s not a game about cooking meth in an RV, as popular as that game would inevitably be. Rather, it’s a realistic simulator-style game about being a passenger on an airplane. The announcement was scheduled to coincide with 2019’s Desert Bus For Hope charity fundraiser, during which the game will be featured on November 12th....

It’s been nearly 10 years since Amnesia: The Dark Descent released and made big waves in the horror scene: the game’s ominous atmosphere drew in fans like moths to a light, with the title’s puzzle-based gameplay and downright horrific enemies providing memorable scares to those who dared play it. An Elden Ring board game is on the way. Steamforged Games - the team behind the Horizon Zero Dawn, Resident Evil, and Dark Souls tabletop games - will be launching a Kickstarter campaign “soon” to bring the officially-sanctioned board game adaptation to fruition. “Like the video game, the Elden Ring board game will immerse players in the forsaken Lands Between,” explains a press release from the company. “In a vast, sprawling world of decaying grandeur that unfolds through their exploration, 1-4 ‘Tarnished’ players will embark on a huge and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters....

Apex Legends is a free-to-play Battle Royale game developed by Respawn. Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance goes live tomorrow, Feb. 8, and Respawn has just released another trailer to show off a few of the notable cosmetics that’ll be coming in the Battle Pass. Legendary skins are coming for both Loba and Seer this time around alongside reactive skins for the Hemlok at the end of the Defiance Battle Pass. The Standard Battle Pass will cost 950 Apex Coins, and the Premium Battle Pass can be purchased for 2,800 Apex Coins....

Apex Legends Mobile launches worldwide tomorrow, on May 17, so Respawn has just dropped a brand-new gameplay trailer to keep the excitement levels up. The video mentions the various game modes, the full launch roster, and also introduces new mobile-exclusive Legends, Fade. Fade will be available at launch alongside Bangalore, Wraith, Caustic, Bloodhound, Lifeline, Mirage, Pathfinder, Octane, and Gibraltar. There wasn’t a big demand for Assassin’s Creed III on the Switch. That game is generally considered to be one of the weaker entries in the series, and while it’s not awful, it wasn’t one of the Creeds that fans wanted on Nintendo’s handheld. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, on the other hand, is a perfect candidate for a Switch port. Ubisoft just can’t stop releasing trailers for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and the obligatory launch trailer has now arrived. The Phantom Thieves are back and looking better (and cooler) than ever. Atlus has just dropped the brand new opening for the upcoming Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. The gorgeous new opening was released on Atlus’s official YouTube channel earlier today, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Fans have commented on the nostalgic quality of the opening’s aesthetic, with many saying it’s reminiscent of the original Persona 5 opening....

With PlatinumGames’ hack-and-slash RPG Babylon’s Fall now almost upon us - and a PlayStation demo arriving tomorrow, 25th February - publisher Square Enix has offered another look at the game’s quad-wielding combat, as well as confirming a Nier: Automata collaboration will be arriving as part of its first season of post-launch content. Babylon’s Fall’s Nier: Automata collaboration will be a limited-time event introducing the likes of new enemies, a new dungeon inspired by Automata’s Machine Village and the Amusement Park areas, plus cosmetics based on 2B, A2, 9S, Commander White, and Operator 210....

The second expansion for Turtle Rock Studio’s exciting multiplayer shooter is almost here, as Back 4 Blood: Children of the Worm is set to release tomorrow, Aug 30. To celebrate the release, a brand new trailer has come out, featuring info on the game’s new story campaign, playable cleaner, and enemy threat that are set to be introduced. Indie titles Rocket League, Her Story and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture all walked away with 3 BAFTAs each at last night’s British Academy Games Awards, more than any AAA game nominated for an award. Rocket League picked up the gongs for Family Game, Multiplayer and Sport, while Her Story’s developer Sam Barlow was awarded with BAFTAs for Game Innovation, Debut Game and Mobile & Handheld. Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture picked up awards for Audio Achievement and Music, with voice actress Merle Dandridge awarded best Performer for her performance as Kate Collins....

WB Games Montreal hasn’t revealed what it’s working on just yet, but one interesting source thinks it’s going back to Batman’s Arkham.
