A new multiplayer horror title called Daemonical from developer Fearem will shortly be heading into Steam Early Access. In this game, you find yourself on a remote uninhabited island with four others and one of you has the chance to become a demon who will attempt to slaughter the rest of the group. After taking part in an unfinished demonic ritual, it’s up to the players to find missing ritual components, return them to the altar and survive the night while avoiding the demon....

It’s no mystery that the reception to the release of Babylon’s Fall by PlatinumGames has not been stellar, yet, those who do enjoy the game have no reason to worry, for now. The official Twitter account of the game issued a statement mentioning that the continuation of the service is not in danger, and there are no plans to reduce the scale of development either. Content up to the end of season 2 is basically complete, and development of season 3 and beyond has already started....

EA has unveiled Battlefield Portal, a new “community-driven platform” launching with Battlefield 2042 that will allow players to make and play in their own Battlefield sandbox including content from across the series. The mode was revealed by the newly redubbed Ripple Effect studio during this evening’s EA Play Live broadcast. In it, you’ll be able to set up custom games by changing a whole suite of options. Some of these include team ratios, victory conditions, weapon restrictions and even include factions from various games across the entirety of the Battlefield series....

Apex Legends has broken a long period of silence today. Respawn Entertainment announced that it would be making an update to the Peacekeeper, arguably one of the best weapons in the game. This is a welcome change, but it is only a start. The peace has been kept The Apex Legends community has been calling for a Peacekeeper nerf since the most recent projectile update. The weapon is able to do 120+ damage at ridiculous ranges, making it far too versatile in any situation....

Respawn will start banning “piggy-backing” players from Apex Legends in the near future. Apex Legends is not screwing around. Earlier this month, Respawn Entertainment revealed that they’d banned almost 800,000 players that were using hacks or other illegal cheating software. And that banhammer continues to swing with the recent announcement that they’re also going to start banning players who ride on others’ coattails in order to progress through the Battle Pass....
