Angry Birds is aiming to take over every console currently on the market. Rovio has currently released the game on iPhone, Mac, Android, and PSN, but they also plan to eventually unleash the beast known as Angry Birds on the Nintendo Wii and Xbox Live Arcade. Lucky enough for everyone, Rovio isn’t just looking to bring their smash-hit to current consoles but future ones as well. That’s why they’ve announced their plans to bring Angry Birds to the Nintendo 3DS....

Game trailers are so big nowadays that developers are knocking up teaser trailers for the actual trailer. Anthem, the not-a-Destiny-copycat-but-kinda-is shooter from developer BioWare, is the latest example. Well, teaser is probably a bit generous. The clip is all of three seconds long, and doesn’t really show much at all, other than a few grunts wandering through what seems to be a cave-like environment. Tommy Refenes, co-developer of the Zits & Giggles iPhone application, may be regretting letting loose on a rant a little more than a week ago. Apple has taken down his moderately successful Apple game - which had been up with no complaints since March of last year. It all started last week at the Game Developer’s Conference during the “Indie Game Developer’s Rant,” where Refenes referred to Apple’s App Store as “awful” and “horrible” before going on to state how he “absolutely ****ing hate[s] the iPhone app store....

Ubisoft has announced pre-order bonus missions for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate involving Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens. A new trailer showing some interactions between lead characters Jacob and Evie, as well as the two historical figures discussing their separate conspiracies has been released. Dickens teases the two with ‘ghost’ stories, while Darwin looks set to ask players to help clean up his image on the streets of London. According to the video description, players who pre-order the game will get these bonus missions for free....

We’ve seen plenty on the new Assassin’s Creed over the last few months, ahead of launch on November 10. This year’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla takes us to Viking-era England, to live out the fantasy of a Viking raider. While the new setting enables massive all-out melee action, it is a more muted look compared to 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It’s still a beautiful landscape though, and Ubisoft has again showcased the Viking vibes it’s going for with a new cinematic TV ad....

Dice might be looking to bring a meaty single-player campaign to the table in Battlefield 3 but the series has always prided itself on its multiplayer. The latest installment of the hit franchise looks to continue that trend. Some fans were concerned that in-game items like the “lethal armor-piercing flechette ammo” for the DAO-12 shotgun, available via pre-order deals, would compromise Battlefield 3’s multiplayer balance. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s multiplayer mode can now be bought separately on Steam for £11.59.
