There’s always a specific build that makes the game trivial, or a specific character thats miles ahead of the rest. But, does that make the gameplay any less fun? No way. In fact, some people, including ourselves, kind of love figuring out all the broken combinations the game has to offer....
A new gameplay reveal showcased various details about Borderlands 3‘s next DLC, Bounty of Blood. The campaign expansion will be a wild west focused story with a lot of new content. However, franchise fans may be disappointed to hear that Bounty of Blood will not be following in the footsteps of Guns, Love, and Tentacles by bringing back any fan-favorite characters. Instead, Borderlands‘ next DLC will have a whole cast of new characters bar the four playable vault hunters of course....
Borderlands 3 isn’t a perfect game. It’s a classic tale of trenches and valleys, bringing with it some of the highest highs and lowest lows in franchise history. This is largely due to the glaring technical issues the game has had in the few days since launch: frame rate issues, stuttering, and a god-awful split-screen mode the amplifies the other two. Developer Headup has unveiled Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, a crossover of the studio’s popular puzzle series and the Robert Kirkman zombie franchise. You’ll be trying to get groups of survivors to safety by building bridges and other structures using a bunch of physics-based objects. As an extra twist, you’ll also be able to construct elaborate traps in order to deal with Walkers and lure them to their demise. Naturally, the game will feature plenty of iconic characters from the series showing up too....

Apple confirms the release date and price for Apple Arcade, its gaming subscription service. The Apple subscription service has been described as a “Netflix for games” by some, as it provides subscribers with an all access feast of games which they can access on their Apple TVs as well as their iOS and MacOS devices. At its September event, Apple revealed that Apple Arcade will cost $4.99 a month. The service will launch on September 19, 2019, where it will be available on iOS 13 in more than 150 regions....

Microsoft Flight Simulator will soon receive its next major update, Sim Update 10. While this update was originally meant to release this month, Asobo pushed it back to give the devs extra time to iron out any oddities and issues. Now, Asobo is asking the community to help with this endeavor by means of a new beta. Ubisoft has dropped more details about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, including customisable aspects of the hero, Eivor (via Eurogamer). We knew that Eivor would be able to dual wield anything he got his grubby mitts on, and even two shields, if that’s what tickles your fancy. We also knew that his equipment and gear would be customisable, too, which has been the case for Syndicate, Origins, and Odyssey. However, Valhalla creative director Ashraf Ismail has now revealed that Eivor is able to be beautified at the Dark Age barbers....
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in Early Access now since October. The months sure are flying by, but that also means we can expect a better experience from developer Larian Studios. Bandai Namco, the publishers of the Dark Souls series, have teased a new project. It’s an announcement to an announcement that’s due next week, on April 20. The short video uses the tagline ‘Prepare to Dine’. Despite nodding towards the ‘Prepare to Die’ tagline from the Dark Souls games, there’s no confirmation that the ‘new project’ has anything to do with either Dark Souls or food.
