Microsoft’s acquisition of the software house that created, among others, The Elder Scrolls, Bethesda, may have suffered a delay, as a lawsuit regarding the entire operation seems to have begun. X-Law Group has in fact filed a lawsuit against Bethesda in July 2019, starting a class action regarding the Fallout 4 Season Pass and its sale price, and could ask for compensation of about a billion dollars. Lawyers have already filed documents to get more information and may even block the sale of Bethesda....

Borderlands 3 has been out for about a month already, and today Gearbox released a large patch that addressed many of the problems reported since the game’s release. The new patch has coincided with an update that officially kicks off the Borderlands 3’s Bloody Harvest Halloween event across all available platforms for the game. Yesterday Budget Cuts was supposed to have released on Steam after a two week delay but once again Neat Corporation has decided to hold off. The two week extension to sort the game out has not been long enough to get the game into a releasable state and so the 31 May launch date was thrown out the window. Treyarch has announced that Blackout, the battle royale portion of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, will be free-to-play from today until April 30. You’ll obviously still need to have a subscription to PlayStation Network or Xbox Live, depending on your chosen platform, but other than that, there’s no cost attached to Blackout. It’s good timing by Treyarch, as Blackout is receiving a brand new map today for PS4 players. Hopefully it’ll turn up on PC and Xbox One before the month’s up....
