RPG developer Larian Studios has revealed that it is working on a new entry in the veneralable series in the form of Baldur’s Gate 3. Just when you thought there were enough battle royale games in development already, another pops up and it’s called Fractured Lands. This post-apocalyptic Mad Max style game is being created by indie developer Unbroken Studios which includes ex-COD and Battlefield devs. Unlike most battle royale games there is an emphasis on vehicles which can be upgraded and equipped with defenses which will be key to winning a match. Think of it like your typical battle royale where you hunt down weapons but with the addition of vehicles which means you’ll also need to find fuel....
Battlefield 1’s Prise de Tahure, a map previously exclusive to Premium Pass holders and the They Shall Not Pass DLC, is being made available free to all owners of the critically acclaimed World War I shooter. Ever since the game’s debut back in February last year, Anthem has been unanimously branded something of a major disappointment. With players calling out the title for having a dull gameplay loop, repetitive missions, a severe lack of originality, and a number of crippling technical issues, it didn’t take long for Bioware’s big new multiplayer epic to become the source of a lot of backlash online. Blizzard has announced that it’s shelving its planned Blizzcon Online showcase, originally planned for February 2022. The company revealed the news in a post to the community entitled ‘Reimagining Blizzcon’. They wrote “At this time, we feel the energy it would take to put on a show like this is best directed towards supporting our teams and progressing development of our games and experiences.” Back in May, the company revealed it would forego a physical event for the remainder of 2021 due to ongoing concerns of the global COVID-19 pandemic....

Bloober Team, the makers of some fairly popular horror games, has announced a joint partnership with a publisher once known for its own penchant toward terror: Konami.
