Speaking during a panel at PAX West over the weekend, Anthem developer BioWare confirmed that the upcoming loot-shooter will not charge for additional story DLC. While the game will give players the option of purchasing in-game items such as cosmetics and gear, it won’t lock any story-based content behind a paywall. However, BioWare’s Mark Darrah clarified that any cosmetic items can also be earned while playing the game, and reiterated that Anthem does not feature loot boxes....

Earlier this week, developers Moebial Studios launched a Kickstarter campaign for their first release - a psychedelic sci-fi survival game titled Aquamarine. Visually, Aquamarine is inspired by underground art and animation from the 70s. This includes comics by the French artist Moebius, who the studio cites as a primary influence on the hand-drawn style of their first title (and who very well may be the inspiration for the studio’s name.)...

Update: The release of Patch 5 for PC has been delayed, Ubisoft has announced. No reason for the delay has been given, but the publisher states it “will have more news on this soon”. Original report: Assassin’s Creed Unity’s Patch 5 is out now on Xbox One and PS4, and will be available later today on PC, Ubisoft has announced. “The patch should resolve numerous reported issues including the ‘Find Leon’ objective not showing up and the relocking of weapon and equipment rewards after they’ve been earned,” states the AC Unity Live Updates blog....

According to a press release, Bandai Namco is giving its developers a substantial pay raise, be it entry-level employees or seasoned developers.
