Techland has kept extensive gameplay clips of its upcoming Dying Light 2 under wraps for only select press members and streamers to see over the past couple of years. But that’s going to change much sooner than some fans might think. The company revealed on the official Dying Light Twitter account that it’s set to reveal an official gameplay demo in a matter of days. The reveal will take place on August 26 at 11 AM PDT, just after Gamescom and right before PAX West kicks off....

Developer Vizor Games has announced it’ll be holding a European closed beta for Nordic-PVP title Blood of Heroes this weekend. Bungie has previously said that the reason Destiny 2 ran at a locked 30FPS on consoles was due to CPU restrictions. This CPU issue meant the developer had to decide between a higher frame rate or a more expansive game world. Speaking to Edge magazine (via Wccftech), Bungie’s executive producer, Mark Noseworthy, expanded on the reasoning behind a locked 30FPS, saying that, ‘It’s about the simulation of the Destiny world. Thirty AI at once, large open spaces, six players, sometimes with vehicles, and dropships coming in; that’s where we’re using the CPU’....
