During the Xbox E3 press conference, new Borderlands 2 DLC was announced. Though it’d been leaked and hinted at in the last week, we now have confirmation that there’s new Borderlands content even before Borderlands 3. In fact, it’s available now! For free too, though only temporarily. From now until July 9, the DLC won’t cost you anything. Titled “Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary,” the DLC is meant to set the stage for Borderlands 3....
Borderlands 3 has just launched the Bloody Harvest event and with it comes plenty of a new map, new legendaries, and some brand spanking new loot. Chief among this loot is a new overpowered grenade called the Ghast Call. The Ghast Call is the kind of grenade that proves that Borderlands 3 does not want players to sit idly by on their themed events. First things first, players will have to go find Maurice to start the Bloody Harvest mission....
Borderlands 3 got a hefty little hotfix today, which goes live on all devices at 6:00 p.m. EST. The hotfix mostly addresses matchmaking, but it also fixes some bugs that have been reported by the community. All the fixes have shown up just in time for the holidays, so be sure to get in there and shoot some psychos and grab some loot. While having a merry time, of course....
The PAX East Gearbox event has just ended, but right before the closing remarks, it was announced that Borderlands 3 will be adding crossplay functionality for PlayStation users. This means that PS4 and PS5 players will finally be able to join those who play on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia. There’s no set date just yet, but the update will be coming later this spring. Gearbox added crossplay for other platforms back in 2020 alongside other additions like new skill trees, but PlayStation was left off of that list at the time....
Part five of Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios’ Shattered Alliances trailer series for Injustice 2 focuses on the big, bad Brainiac. In the video that you can watch below, you can check out Brainiac dealing ferocious damage to the slate of DC superheroes on offer in the fighting game sequel. He’s very cross, in fairness. Injustice 2 is out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16 in North America, and May 19 in Europe....
Broken Lines is an upcoming story-driven tactical RPG set in an alternate-history World War II. Scheduled for release on February 25, the game will have players managing a squad of soldiers as they try to get out from behind enemy lines. According to developer PortaPlay, players will fight not only enemies but also their own sense of right and wrong. UPDATE: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is skipping a release on Xbox 360 and PS3, Activision has confirmed to VideoGamer.com, making it the first game in the series not to release on last-gen platforms. Instead, the game will only be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. ORIGINAL STORY: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare appears to be a current-gen only release, with Infinity Ward confirming that the game won’t be coming to PS3....
AMD revealed its Radeon RX 7000 Series today in an online event which covered everything from specs to general performance and features. Team Red introduced two models to begin the launch, which were unsurprisingly the high-end contenders to up against Nvidia’s RTX 40 Series. The Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX launch on December 13, and AMD has some lean and mean pricing to talk about. The Radeon RX 7900 XT features an MSRP of $899 USD, and the flagship 7900 XTX is just an extra Benjamin at $999 USD....
AMD has released their latest drivers, the Radeon Adrenalin Edition 18.2.2. These new drivers have been released to support Kingdom Come: Deliverance which has just released today (see our tech review). Amplitude, the high definition re-imagining of the rhythm action title from Harmonix, has seen its release pushed back once again, the developer has announced. Originally set for March 2015, the game was then lined-up for a summer launch, but this has now been changed-up for a 2016 debut. “As the game came together this year, it became apparent to all of us that it was shaping up to be something really special,” explained producer Alex Rigopulos....
