The BBC has revealed that it’ll be showing a behind the scenes documentary at Bungie, and it’s on BBC Click this Saturday October 22. ‘Making Destiny 2 and beyond’ sees the Destiny developer opening its doors to Newsbeat for a frank discussion about the development of the online-only first-person shooter. It also gives many of us our first look inside the studio behind Destiny and the original Halo trilogy. Bungie’s co-founder, Jason Jones, told Newsbeat that the developer had ‘absolutely’ taken the ‘criticisms of the original Destiny to heart....

Following their usual pattern of rewarding players for clearing new raid content quickly in Destiny 2, Bungie has revealed several items that can be purchased if players complete certain objectives in Shadowkeep by October 15. In a recent blog post, Bungie wrote that players who clear the “Garden of Salvation” raid and claims the required code before the reset of October 15 will gain the opportunity to purchase the corresponding raid jacket through Bungie Rewards....

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will feature the all new Zombies survival co-op experience Zombies in Spaceland. Zombies in Spaceland promises to immerse players in an all-new 1980s setting of a space-themed amusement park, complete with 80s soundtrack and four classic ’80s characters. “Call of Duty and zombies in particular has such an incredible history with passionate fans, which inspired us to take all the co-op action that has made the series so great and fuse it with one of our favourite decades in pop culture: the ’80s,” said Brian Bright, project director at Infinity Ward....

Animal Crossing: New Horizons had a glitch which let players clone items for fast returns, but the hustle has been patched out with the latest update (via ACWorldBlog). Batman: Arkham Knight has a brand new gameplay trailer titled Time To Go To War, featuring footage captured from the PS4 game. Battlefield V developer DICE has admitted that having a battle royale mode in the upcoming shooter would be a ’natural fit,’ though the company has nothing to announce just yet. Rumours were fluttering around the web recently that the studio was prototyping the Fortnite-style mode for Battlefield V, but yesterday’s reveal event made no mention of a battle royale option. However, Senior Producer Andreas Morrel revealed that the chaps at DICE are ‘very much fans’ of gaming’s latest craze, and that the studio ‘definitely looking to see how Battlefield can explore the Battle Royale genre....

DICE has announced that the Battlefield V Closed Alpha 2 will be kicking off on August 14. The latest taster for the upcoming World War II shooter is described as a ‘short test,’ and doesn’t feature any changes as far as maps, modes, weapons, and vehicles. The focus of the second Alpha will instead focus on player progression speed. DICE has apparently tweaked a number of thing in this respect, which they say will ‘better cater to players across all play styles and skill levels based on how fast players score points....

Stunlock Studios will be entering the world of battle royale with the Battlerite Royale game mode this July. Today Stunlcok has revealed the map which is called Talon Island and is 30 times the size of a standard Battlerite map. The maps is divided into four distinct areas such as town of Anvilfall, the Glimmering Woods, the Starlight Oasis, and the Ancient Tomb.
