Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta On Playstation First

The open beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 before any other platform.

The description simply reads, “A new era is coming.”

Along with this trailer is the news that there will be an open beta for the game. This open beta will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 first. Before the reveal trailer went live, it was leaked. At the end of the leaked trailer, a message read (via VGC): “Available on PlayStation at least 5 days earlier than any other platform.”

Access to the open beta will mean pre-ordering Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The game is scheduled for release on October 28th, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

In other recent Modern Warfare 2 news, the game has had plenty of leaks of late. Last month, we glimpsed bits of its gameplay, featuring the new ability to ogle your own weapon. Plus, there were leaks of a new mode, entitled DMZ, and of several of the upcoming game’s maps.

Then, only a couple of weeks back, there was a leak of the new Warzone map. Which is big, and features a large body of water, because Modern Warfare 2 will apparently feature the return of the swimming mechanic.
