Treyarch has released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and it’s quite a chunky patch, offering a range of changes across all Blackout, Multiplayer, and Zombies game modes.
Let’s start with Blackout. The battle royale mode has seen nerfs across the board for its armor, with level three armor no longer offering full protection against explosives and melee damage. In addition, the recently-teased Ambush mode is now live for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
Meanwhile, Black Ops 4’s Multiplayer playlist has been beefed up with the addition of Blackjack’s Gun Game, Hardcore Moshpit, Endurance Chaos Moshpit, Mercenary Capture Moshpit, and Safeguard.
The shambling Zombies mode has received a couple of noteworthy inclusions, too. Aside from a wealth of bug fixing, some new weapons have been added: The MP 40, Grav, Daemon 3XB, SWAT RFT, and KAP 45.
Those of you who own the PC and Xbox One version of Black Ops 4 will be able to tuck into the Barbarians special event, giving you access to an extra 25 tiers of fresh loot.

Activision recently confirmed that Call of Duty had notched up its 10th consecutive year as the best-selling video game series in the US.
