Criterion Games has confirmed that Burnout Paradise Remastered will include the original game’s soundtrack, so you’ll be jammin’ along to the likes of Avril Lavigne’s ‘Girlfriend’ and Guns ‘N Roses’ ‘Paradise City’ like it was only yesterday.
Presumably this is why the remastered version of the 2008 racing juggernaut has taken so long to materialise, seeing as how there’s all sorts of licensing issues that Criterion would have had to sort out.
Meanwhile, publisher Electronic Arts assured fans that a recent store listing for the game that mentioned ‘in-game purchases’ was an error; there’s no microtransactions whatsoever, so cool your jets. Unfortunately though, there’s still no sign of a Switch version of the adrenaline-pumping racer.
Burnout Paradise Remastered is due out on March 16 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Just a heads up, but the store listing for #BurnoutParadise that mentions “In-game purchases optional” is an error. There is no MTX or any additional paid for content. Pitch forks down please. pic.twitter.com/hPX8gLKiAG

Yes, Avril will be back, not liking your girlfriend. She thinks you need a new one. https://t.co/gkBJQYlWZz
