Borderlands 3 has many different Legendary Class Mods. Legendary Class Mods always consist of the same three things; skill bonuses, randomized stat bonuses, and a special perk that relates to that Vault Hunter.

Since launch, Borderlands 3 has seen many buffs, meaning that items that were considered bad at release may have been revitalized now. With the release of the Handsome Jackpot DLC, there were four more Legendary Class Mods added into the loot pool. Let’s see if any of them stand up against some of the better ones. Here are the ten best Legendary Class Mods in Borderlands 3.

10 St4ckbot - FL4K (DLC)

The St4ckbot drops any time during the Handsome Jackpot DLC. It awards FL4K increased damage as they score a critical hit, and this damage bonus ends once they don’t score a critical hit.

There is a reason this sounds too good to be true and why it’s lowest on the list. While it is great with the correct gear, it appears that elemental damage will actually bring that chain of critical hits. It’s not certain if this is a bug or something Gearbox intended. Therefore, this class mod is only great with non-elemental weapons. Still, give FL4K a Maggie or a Vladof assault rifle and you can do an insane amount of damage.

9 Infiltrator - Zane

The Infiltrator class mod for Zane is great, given you have the right gear to complement it. The Infiltrator’s main perk is that it gives Zane increased Movement Speed and Gun Damage. The lower his shield is, the better these bonuses will be. It can be dropped from the final boss of the Trial of Instinct.

This goes well some of Zane’s skills that already give increased damage from moving fast. What makes this class mod even better is having a Rough Rider shield. The Rough Rider has a capacity of zero, meaning that it will give Zane the highest bonuses of Movement Speed and Damage.

8 Mind Sweeper - Moze

The Mind Sweeper gives Moze a chance to drop an exploding grenade after getting a critical hit. It can be dropped from the Tink of Cunning, the final boss of the Trial of Cunning proving grounds.

Moze is generally known for her splash damage, which makes this class mod a no-brainer. It also gives her Skill Bonuses in Torque Cross-Promotion, meaning that the grenade’s splash damage can double in size. Also, Moze can score critical hits with grenades thanks to Pull The Holy Pin. Need we say more?

7 Antifreeze - Zane

Antifreeze gives Zane 40% weapon damage while sliding or airborne. In order to get the Antifreeze class mod, you have to farm the final boss of the Trial of Discipline on Mayhem 4. Yes, that is not going to be fun but right now it’s the only way.

Understandably, Antifreeze takes some getting used to as you need to constantly run around and slide. Luckily, it gives Skill Bonuses to Supersonic Man, Violent Momentum, and Violent Speed, all of which correspond with Zane’s movement speed. Just slide away and see the great results!

6 R4KK P4K - FL4K

Thanks to recent buffs, certain skills like Rakk Attack now stand a chance in Mayhem Mode, enhanced even more with the R4KK P4K Legendary Class Mod. Unfortunately, like Zane’s Antifreeze, you have to farm a final Trial boss Mayhem 4. In this case, it’s the Trial of Cunning.

Whenever FL4K hits an enemy with Rakk Attack, the rakks split into two more that seek out enemies. This causes a great chain reaction and a ton of crowd control, for which FL4K isn’t always known for. As of now, this is the best way to create an efficient pet build for FL4K.

5 Seein’ Dead - Zane (DLC)

With the new Seein’ Dead class mod, Zane is a force to be reckoned with. The only downside is that you need the Handsome Jackpot DLC to get it. What the Seein’ Dead mod does is similar to his Seein’ Red capstone skill. Except, this time, he has to chance to activate his Kill Skills just from damaging an enemy, with the Kill Skills also receiving a 25% effect bonus.

This means that Zane essentially has his Kill Skills going on the entire fight. This also helps with boss fights since Zane won’t need to rely on other enemies to activate his Kill Skills. As of now, this is Zane’s best class mod and it’s a common world-drop in the DLC.

4 Blast Master - Moze

Moze is known for two things; unlimited magazines and explosions. Therefore, Moze’s Blast Master class mod perfectly compliments her character, since she gains more splash damage (up to 100) the longer she goes without reloading. It drops from the Trial of Discipline final boss.

While the splash damage bonus is nice, this class mod is great for giving her a Skill Bonus in Pull The Holy Pin. At three points, she has a 30% chance for grenades to do a critical hit. The class mod can add two more points, giving you a 50% chance. Pair this with a Hex grenade, and you can just sit back and watch the chaos.

3 Phasezerker - Amara

Amara’s Phasezerker class mod is revolved around her Rush stacks. Upon activating an Action Skill, Amara gains her max Rush stack count, with increased gun damage and cooldown rate for each Rush stack. It drops from the final boss of the Trial of Fervor.

Many Amara builds revolve around Rush stacks, which give her bonuses in many different stats such as Action Skill damage and reload speed. Therefore, this class mod is the best option considering you’ll get the stacks right away, especially if you’re constantly activating your Action Skill.

2 Raging Bear - Moze

Updates and buffs have now made Iron Bear extremely powerful. For those wanting an Iron Bear build in Mayhem 4, then you need to obtain the Raging Bear class mod. Keep in mind, however, that it can only be obtained in Mayhem 4 from Billy the Anointed, but it’s totally worth it.

This mod gives Iron Bear decreased fuel usage upon killing an enemy, while also giving him increased damage as he takes damage. This is a must-have for Moze in Mayhem 4, as it will keep her alive while simultaneously demolishing everything in sight.

1 Spiritual Driver - Amara

This class mod essentially turns Amara into Doom Guy. The perk of Spiritual Driver is that Amara gains increased gun damage while moving. The quicker she moves, the more gun damage she gets. It drops only in Mayhem 4 by Sylestro, the Target of Opportunity on Nekrotafeyo.

In order for this mod to get its full potential, you’ll need to unlock her Mindfulness skill, which increases her movement speed as she takes damage. Spiritual Driver is Amara’s best class mod for taking down Wotan, as she’s given a huge arena to run around to build up that gun damage. Give her a corrosive Cutsman, as well, and Wotan doesn’t stand a chance.
