Borderlands 3’s Gifts of Mayhem event is continuing along, giving fans of the popular looter-shooter the chance to get a new gift each day until Friday, December 20. However, the latest Borderlands 3 Gifts of Mayhem gift may be the most popular yet, as it gives fans new Christmas-themed skins for all four Vault Hunters in the game.
The Festive Vestments Vault Hunter skins in Borderlands 3 gives all four playable characters a new red and green color scheme, along with candy cane stripes. Many of the Borderlands 3 Christmas gifts have featured candy cane decor in some fashion, with previous gifts including a candy cane ECHO skin as well as a candy cane weapon trinket. It will be interesting to see if the next couple of gifts mix things up a bit.
In the meantime, those who want to redeem this new Borderlands 3 shift code can do so by visiting the Gearbox Software website, the Borderlands website, or redeem the code in-game. The new Borderlands 3 shift code is as follows: CSKJB-6B9BZ-5K696-RBTB3-6FCBS. Like the other Borderlands 3 Gifts of Mayhem shift codes, this one will expire on January 10, 2020 at 11:59pm PST, so fans have a few weeks to redeem it.
New Vault Hunter skins will definitely be appreciated by the Borderlands 3 community. Some may have expected Gearbox and 2K Games to wait on releasing the new Vault Hunter skins for the final gift, but it seems as though the final Gifts of Mayhem gift will be something completely different. It’s possible that it will be another new skin for players’ ECHO devices, or maybe even another weapon trinket. Of course, it could be even more Christmas-themed Vault Hunter skins, so fans shouldn’t rule out that possibility as well.
After the Borderlands 3 Gifts of Mayhem event concludes, it’s likely that Borderlands 3 will start releasing regular shift codes again. Prior to the start of the Gifts of Mayhem, Borderlands 3 players were able to look forward to new shift codes every weekend that would get them free Golden Keys. These Golden Keys could in turn be used on the chest aboard Sanctuary III for some free loot, so Borderlands 3 fans should be able to look forward to free loot sooner rather than later.
While fans wait for the return of regular Borderlands 3 shift codes, they can redeem this shift code for a free legendary assault rifle.
