In just a few days, fans of Borderlands 3 will have a chance to get their spook on with Bloody Harvest. A new trailer for the seasonal event is here and viewable below. What’s more, it looks like Bloody Harvest will go beyond the Halloween season. The developers at Gearbox explained that it will run from Oct. 24 through Dec. 5, and a blog post reveals all the details.
Here’s how to take part in Bloody Harvest
Players need to progress enough in the story to reach Sanctuary III. Fortunately, this is fairly early on in the game, so not too much effort is needed. Once you get to that point, you’ll notice a newcomer on your ship by the name of Maurice. This Saurian is able to communicate with the help of an invention by Tannis. He essentially serves as a “guide to all of (Borderlands 3’s) seasonal events,” according to creative director Paul Sage.
After speaking with him, you’ll be able to take a trip to Heck (yes, Heck). It’s here that the Bloody Harvest event unfolds. You’ll need to hack through various Haunted enemies to earn enough Hecktoplasm to satisfy Maurice.
Once that’s done and he finds it to be a sufficient amount, he’ll open a portal. This will take you to a new domain, where Captain Haunt and his undead minions await. Cut your way through Maliwan soldiers and fire-breathing Rakk-o’-Lanterns and you’ll reach a battle with Haunt himself. It’s here you’ll need as much firepower as you can possibly muster, since he’s a handful.
The picture above provides a rundown of the loot available in this event. These include a new Legendary Weapon, extra Vault Hunter skins, and additional mods and skins. You’ll have your work cut out for you but get rewards in return.
Check out the trailer below and prepare for the Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest event when it debuts later this week.
