Activision and Treyarch has released a new video feature detailing four of the five new maps featured in the imminent Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC pack.
The video offers a look at the key features of the four new multiplayer maps: Berlin, Stadium, Discovery and Kowloom. New Zombies map, Ascension, isn’t featured in the video.
Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike is out in the UK on February 1, 2011, initially on Xbox 360 for 1200 MS points.
The new maps certainly appear to offer a great variety, from the close-quarters combat in Stadium, to the sniper paradise of Berlin Wall. There’s also a host of map-specific features, including turrets, zip-lines and a destructible bridge.
Modern Warfare 2 map packs were criticised for their inclusion of maps which had been brought over from earlier games in the series, so it’s welcome to see four all-new multiplayer maps and a new Zombies map for the 1200 MS Points asking price.
