Black Ops 3 Was The Best Selling Game Of 2015 Says Activision

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was the world’s best-selling game last year, Activision has said.

The game’s success has helped bring total franchise sales to over 250 million units, the publisher says, although specific sales for Black Ops 3 have not been revealed.

While the game was the best-selling game worldwide, however, it wasn’t the best-selling game in the UK, where FIFA 16 proved to be the most popular.

Black Ops 3’s first DLC pack, Awakening, launches on PS4 on February 2, and on Xbox One and PC at a later date. It is not coming to Xbox 360 or PS3.

This year’s Call of Duty, meanwhile, is expected to be in development at Modern Warfare studio Infinity Ward.
