Black Desert Mobile offers players numerous ways to level up their character. In fact, there are so many options to choose from that it can be overwhelming to new players. For those looking to rise through the ranks as quickly as possible, here are a couple foolproof methods to level up fast.
Fishing
Grab your fishing pole and head to the nearest fishing hole, because this is — surprisingly — one of the best techniques to level up. Unlike other Life Skills, fishing does not require the use of Stamina, making it an excellent way to gain experience. However, this method will leave you with little silver to show for your efforts. If you want a balanced character, and don’t want to be scrambling for cash later on in the game, it’s best to use this method in conjunction with some of the others listed below.
Follow The Story
When you aren’t fishing, why not follow the main storyline? It’s still one of the fastest ways to level up in the game and also offers players a good assortment of gear and silver. This technique comes highly recommended — it’s a great way to learn more about the lore of Black Desert Mobile, grants hefty XP rewards, and ensures that you have a well-balanced character as you progress towards the end game.
Grinding With XP Boosting Items
Surprised? Grinding it out against waves of enemies is a viable option in most MMORPG titles — Black Desert Mobile is no different. At lower levels this isn’t the best option, as most enemies give little XP for defeating them. However, as you rise through the ranks and fight more difficult enemies your rewards will significantly increase. Combine this with items that grant XP Boosts (usually handed out during Special Events) and it’s an excellent way to level up.
Daily Quests
Daily Quests usually involve defeating a specific number of enemies. If you’re looking to do some grinding, be sure to check your Dailies and see if you can double dip.
Life Skills
Like Fishing, Life Skills offer a ridiculous amount of XP. Cutting down trees, foraging, mining — these are all good ways to level up. However, these use Stamina, therefore you’re limited in how frequently you can take advantage of this technique. Ideally, players should find a way to use these Life Skills as they are partaking in other adventures. See a mining location on your way to the next quest? It’s probably worth your time to take the extra second and harvest ore from it.
Black Spirit Mode
Once you’ve unlocked this mode, take advantage of it! This puts the game on autoplay, gaining XP for you while you’re away. It’s not the best way to level up, but who can complain about gaining XP for doing nothing?
Boss Rush
Bosses offer up more XP than normal enemies. Once this mode has been unlocked, you’re free to dive back into the fray and fight them again. This method isn’t as lucrative as other forms of leveling, but provides a worthwhile diversion for those tired of the other methods.
Ancient Ruins
Like Boss Rush, tackling the Ancient Ruins can yield some excellent XP. The harder the Ruins, the greater the rewards. Again, this tends not to be as efficient as the methods listed above but is arguably one of the most enjoyable modes in the game.
Black Desert Mobile offers such a wide range of content that you’re sure to find something you enjoy. The game also does an excellent job of rewarding players, so no matter what you’re doing it’s probably worthy of your time. However, if you’re looking to hit the level cap as soon as possible, follow these techniques and you’ll be there before you know it.
