Bioware Apologises And Outlines Upcoming Changes To Transgender Npc

BioWare has apologised for their portrayal of the transgender NPC, Hainly Abrams, in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Taking to Twitter, BioWare issued a statement saying she ‘was not included in a caring or thoughtful way,’ before adding that the developer has spoken about the character’s representation both internally and externally, and will be making changes to her dialogue in the upcoming patch. 

Yesterday BioWare detailed the aforementioned patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda which includes better lip syncing for human and asari characters, as well as improved matchmaking, among many other issues that players have encountered since its release.
