Dying Light came in second, no doubt as players prepared for its original January 28 release, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in third.

Tom Clancy’s The Division and Halo 5: Guardians followed in fourth and fifth, with The Order: 1886, GTA 5 PC, Battlefield Hardline, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and Uncharted 4 rounding out the top 10.

Despite last month’s beta, however, Evolve failed to crack the top 10, placing just outside at No.11.

The £79.99 edition contains an exclusive art book, comic book and statue – the latter of which appeared to give away a major spoiler for the game’s plot. The SKU has since sold out on PS4.
